Description: This kayak has been widely admired for its beauty. It’s good for the average paddler to use in open water, surfing, and even racing. The low back deck permits the paddler to easily lean back and the foredeck is high enough that most paddlers will be able to get their legs in and out while sitting down. This kayak performance is fast and efficient and surfs very easily. This kayak is good for both average and experience paddlers to use on lakes, rivers, and open water. This racing kayak is completely handcrafted and it typically takes about 500 hours to build one. At Woodboat USA, we still use the traditional method of constructions while integrating the highest quality of materials currently available. Strips of cedars are joined together by hand and encapsulated in fiberglass bonded in place with epoxy resin then coated with marine vanish. This combination of fiberglass and epoxy is very strong and completely transparent so that the beauty of the wood will be protected for generations.
